Bread Ministry

"Jesus said to them, "I am the bread of life; those who come to me shall not hunger, and those who believe in me shall never thirst." John 6:35

These are the words on the welcome card attached to the sweetbread that is given to each first-time visitor to Pine Street. On Rally Day 2006 this ministry began thanks to the Evangelism Committee. A baking team meets at the church as needed to bake the bread and give it out after the 8:30 and 11:00 Sunday worship services. The rest of the card reads, "We hope you have been fed by the Spirit through worship and fellowship here at Pine Street Presbyterian Church." For more information contact Carol Mader.
