Programs for Children & Youth

We offer a broadly graded program for children and a combined program for adults. Classes for children begin with newborns (nursery) and extend through 12th grade.

Children

Infants are cared for in the nursery and included in family activities. Pre–school children are welcome in worship and prepared for worship through church school and the Wonder of Worship program. Educational and fellowship opportunities for elementary school–age children are offered through church school and choir.

Church School for grades K–5 begins at 9:30 a.m. each Sunday. The children meet earlier so they can have time for a full church school lesson and choir rehearsal.

Youth

Youth are challenged to participate in church school, bell choir, Youth Fellowship, and other church responsibilities as appropriate when they have been received into membership.

Commissioning Class

Students in 9th grade are instructed in the Reformed faith in preparation of being commissioned as members into the life of the church. The class takes place from October to April and is taught by pastors and elders. Confirmation occurs on Palm Sunday.
