Lenten Noonhour Recitals
for 2011

Each season, Pine Street Church presents a series of Recitals at the Noonhour during the season of Lent. The hope is to offer a sacred space in which to hear great music and meditate on the Passion, making preparation for Easter. This season we have five superb organists who will grace us with presentations for the season. We hope you can join us. There is no charge for these recitals. Abundant parking is available in the South Street Garage, however, during the business day, we are not able to offer free parking.

Following each recital a luncheon is offered in McCormick Hall. The fare is soup and bread, with the soup created by Downtown Daily Bread chief chef, Brenda Ervin. The proceeds from the lunch go to Downtown Daily Bread, Pine Street’s ministry to the hungry and homeless of Center City Harrisburg. Lunch is provided for $3.00.
