The text for this window comes from Luke 24:29, when Jesus appears and walks with two disciples on the road to Emmaus, a village some seven miles from Jerusalem. Pictured are Jesus and the two disciples with the buildings of Emmaus in the background. In 1894, Mr. James Boyd "agreed to furnish and place in position windows for all the openings seem from the Auditorium." This window and the RABBONI MASTER, CROSS AND CROWN, FOLLOW ME, and two GEOMETRIC windows are all that remain of those windows created by Charles Booth of New York City. Earliest drawings and photographs show a mullion or wooden divider separatig each of these window openings into two lancets. An educated guess would be that the windows of the steeple ar original and of the type first installed throughout the sanctuary. The RABBONI MASTER and the ABIDE WITH US windows, although in equal and matching openigs, are obviously of different sizes, allowing RABBONI MASTER to have border surrounding it, but not the ABIDE WITH US, which is slightly larger.
