Given in memory of our fourth pastor, The Reverend John Randolph Paxton from a bequest by his daughter, Mrs. Harry L. Hamlin, these windows have as their text: I have no refuge other than thy threshold. My head has no protection other than thy porch. Attempts to find the souce of this quotation have been unsuccessful. Dedicated November 6, 1027 the four windows contain a symbol of eachof the four evangelists in a medallion on a field of grisaille. From left to right are MATTHEW, a winged man, MARK, a winged lion, LUKE, a winged ox, JOHN, an eagle.
