This window was given by her friends to the glory of God and in loving memory of Barbara G. Clapper, who served our church for many years as its secretary. Designed by Donald L. Clapper, the window was created by Byron L. White, and executed and installed by Ernest Saltzer and Sons. The theme of the window, expressed by its written text is SING PSALMS AND HYMNS AND SPIRITUAL SONGS WITH THANKSGIVING UNTO THE LORD (Colossians 3:16). Represented are five of our choirs in distinctive gowns, as well as composers Johann S. Bach and George F. Handel, hymnists King David and Isaac Watts, organist, physician and theologian Albert Schweitzer, musician and educator, John Finley Williamson, and a former beloved organist of our congregation Frank A. McCarrell.
