The windows in the southwest door of the cloister were designed by Henry Lee Willet (?). They depict John Calvin on the left and John Knox on the right dressed as clerics, each carrying a Bible. This door was originally in the south wall of the west transept, and opened into a small courtyard. It had the MEDALLION–JESUS AND THE CHILDREN as its tympanum. Dedicated September 1943, the windows were given by Mrs. Sarah Mateer Palmer in memory of her husband, J. Frank Palmer, a Deacon, Elder, teacher, and young people's worker. In the renovation of 1985, the creation of the cloister necessitated their removal to the south end of the cloister.
